It’s Monday, and that means they’re going to have a picknick at Hotel Monte Sella in San Vigilio di Marebbe. But first you have to walk 6 km to the beautiful picnic area where chef Andrea and his excellent team have prepared another delicious picknick. Although: by picknick we usually mean a sandwich with cheese and maybe something extra. But with Norbert, the host of Monte Sella, it’s a bit different: start with a beer and/or a glass of prosecco (made cold in a mountain river, appetizers, pasta, polenta, several kinds of meat, dessert, coffee, cake and grappa. And after singing, we walked the 6 km back to Hotel Monte Sella.
Het is maandag, en dat betekent dat ze in Hotel Monte Sella in San Vigilio di Marebbe gaan picknicken. Maar eerst moet je daarvoor wel 6 km wandelen naar de prachtige picknickplaats waar chef Andrea en zijn voortreffelijk team weer een heerlijke picknick hebben voorbereid. Alhoewel: onder picknick verstaan wij gewoon een boterham met kaas en misschien nog wat extra. Maar bij Norbert, de gastheer van Monte Sella, is dat wat anders: beginnen met een biertje en/of een glaasje prosecco, aperitiefhapjes, pasta, pollenta, meat, dessert, coffee, cake and grappa. En na nog wat te hebben gezongen, wandelen we 6 km terug naar Hotel Monte Sella.
